Does this bathtub make my butt look big?

Emi loves the water. On Friday, our midwife showed Rob how to give Emi a bath in a "Tummy Tub"--this is really just a glamorized bucket. She loved it and would have bobbed around in there for a long time if we'd let her.


On Saturday, Emi had many social engagements. She is a popular one-week old. First, she went to the Summer Party at my school and then we went to a small garden party hosted by one of Rob's German classmates. Dana, Victoria and Johann have a very nice, quiet garden in which we can leisurely waste away our day. The roses smelled beautiful and Rob truly enjoyed the Polish Vodka (see flickr pictures on the right). While her sleeping through both parties might indicate a lack of interest, it's really her newborn way of saying, "This place is chill."

Throughout her day, Emi gets the hiccups. She gets them A LOT. Usually she works through them very quickly, but other times they stick around for 4 minutes or so. It sometimes is painful for me to watch because I know they can't be that comfortable. Hopefully though, she'll learn to drink responsibly soon.
