Last week I started my new gig in Frankfurt, meanwhile Em started her work toward becoming a soulful blues singer. Here are a pair of new videos from her recent recording session:

My first week on the job went really well. The people are smart, friendly and, most importantly, patient with my German. Dangerously, the office is located within blocks of 4 different gourmet chocolate stores. I'll be testing--and retesting--a theory I have about chocolate speeding language acquisition.

She really does get more beautiful every new post. I feel like I've seen her in person even through it's just been through computer screen.
