It's Good to be Home

On Wednesday, Emi and I turned in the apartment keys in Dortmund and came home to Rob and Charlie. We were both happy to be back with our boys. Emi decided to celebrate by snuggling up with them both.


For the last 3 months, we have been in limbo. Rob has been working in Frankfurt and we've been going back and forth to Dortmund. Since September, Emi and I have spent every other week with Rob in Frankfurt. It is best to offer infants consistency, but our situation hasn't really allowed that so much. During our weeks in Dortmund, Emi is happy as usual. However, she always seems just a little happier when we make it home to Rob. I think it's because he allows her screen time, computer junkie that she is.
